ABOUT

We have been making this Romanesque design for over a quarter of a century and for all those years it has been one of our bestselling chairs. For long summer meals with your friend’s, it is enduringly comfortable whilst being extremely strong and easily movable. The chair brings to mind the many festive occasions enjoyed at Villas in the Tuscan countryside over the centuries.

DESIGN

Our Artemis design is inspired from the Curule seat dating back to ancient Rome, named after the Greek Goddess of hunting. This powerful design was used by the highest government dignitaries and was a symbol of Authority. We have adapted the original design for spectacular comfort with or without a cushion.

WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL

Like all our cast aluminium garden furniture our Artemis armchairs are handmade from refined recycled aluminium. Each piece is constructed as one over numerous hours from many individual sand castings. Once complete each armchair is individually finished in our customer’s own choice of colour and cushion fabric. All the effort in our factory goes into ensuring that each piece is totally weatherproof, wherever in the world it is situated, and completely maintenance free. Everything we create is intended to last generations.
