Bonfeu BonTon 40 Corten

The BonTon is by far the biggest fireplace in the BonFeu fireplace range. It is available in three sizes; 40, 50 & 60, and is thereby particularly suitable for bigger gardens and terraces. The fireplace also has a heat-resistant coating to protect the fireplace and an ash tray. The shape and high flue pipe of the BonTon ensure that the smoke is carried away. The front of the BonTon is fitted with a detachable spark screen. This prevents the logs from falling out of the fireplace, as well as sparks from flying around.

Durability of the BonTon

The BonTon Rust is made from Corten steel. Corten steel is a brown-rust, weatherproof steel  The rust-colour and very dense oxide skin shield the deeper material from oxygen, which slows down oxidation.

The BonTon Black is made of steel. Steel has the property, under humid circumstances, to rust. So keep in mind that the fireplace will rust. This process can occur quickly. But do not panic, this will give your BonFeu fireplace its robust and sturdy appearance!
